So here I am, back in lovely New Zealand, about to attempt yet another working holiday visa. I truly can't wait to see how this one pans out.
Funny thing is, I turned 24 this summer, and it seems as if that once, gentle get-a-move-on-with-your-life nudge has turned more-so into a full-blown shove.
That being said, I'm doing what I know and what I tend to do best: take off running with not a clue what to do.
While most will think that's a tad irresponsible, I like to think of it as being.. Spontaneous and refusing the depressing bits of adulthood.
I don't want to be stuck inside a cubicle at some crummy job, or worse, stuck inside some mediocre community college racking up student loans to make myself FEEL like I'm "on the right path."
I am still, and yes I said STILL, searching for that one loophole that will allow me to travel, eat, take photos, mingle, and somehow turn that into a career.
So? There you have it. Please join me for yet another crazy adventure that I'm sure this is bound to turn into.
As for now- sleep. Jetlag and being on the complete opposite side of the fucking globe has finally caught up to me.
This weeks responsibilities: look for jobs (but not too hard just yet), find a solid coffee shop to frequently visit, oh, and find an epic Indian restaurant so I can get this butter chicken crave out of the way.
To be continued...
